Mike Khanna

Mike Khanna

CEO

Mike Khanna is a senior high-tech entrepreneur with a background in sales and business development. With over twenty years of experience in Silicon Valley, Mike has brought innovation to the industry. Mike and his team successfully created and launched six products, services, and solutions at Sonasoft and currently champions the business development of the Company’s artificial intelligence (AI) products and services.


In addition to product development, Mike spearheads the investor relations (IR) initiatives and raises capital for the Company.


In 2014, Mike quickly recognized the void for a need to migrate competing archive systems, namely Mimosa and NearPoint, which led to a significant increase in Sonasoft’s revenues. Mike also successfully launched cost-effective migration services to migrate data from an older version of Microsoft Exchange Server to a newer version.


Mike’s business acumen led Sonasoft to venture into cloud-based products and services. His leadership was the force behind Sonasoft’s launch of SonaCloud, a cloud-based email archiving and eDiscovery solution and SonaSecure Email Protection and Email Continuity, which is also a cloud-based service that protects against threats such as ransomware.

Mike is now the Company’s driving force for the business development of the Company’s artificial intelligence (AI) cloud-based platform and services. He also is the champion for AI integration to the Company’s existing products and services.

Rob Baumert

CFO

Rob Baumert brings to Sonasoft a wealth of experience, gained over the course of a varied and successful career in high-tech startups. Originally trained as a chemical engineer and naval officer, Rob holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the Royal Military College of Canada and a Master of Engineering degree from Queen’s University. Following a successful engineering career in the hydrogen fuel cell industry, where he rose to the position of Head of Test Engineering for XCellsis USA (a joint venture of Ford Motor Company, Daimler Chrysler and Ballard Power Systems), Rob pivoted to a business career, completing his MBA at the Melbourne Business School in Australia in 2004. Rob continued on to attend the Stanford University Graduate School of Business for the Emergent CFO Financial Leadership Program (2015).

Neil Khanna

Neil is a sales, suppport, and business operation technology leader specialized in working with strategic clients. Focused on AI and data egineering he is helping them plan, adopt, and expand on their technology investments driving towards key business outcomes. He believes success is only achieved when our clients are receiving maximum value from our products and services.

Paul Clauson

COO

Paul Clauson is an entrepreneur with over a decade of experience empowering startups to reach new heights. His wealth of expertise encompasses go-to-market, digital strategy, customer acquisition, fundraising, and Software as a Service (SaaS). Recently, the innovative spirit running through Paul’s family was the subject of a book on his grandfather, Wallace, a brilliant scientist who worked with John von Neumann and Albert Einstein. Paul received his undergraduate degree from UCLA in Political Theory and has a master’s degree from Western Seminary.

Madonna Ysais

Inside Sales Representative

Executes and improves upon sales operations processes to ensure that the needs of each customer are met and that every sales manager is able to deliver on all commitments to our customers. Madonna is a master of efficiency and detailed in her execution. Customers are always in good hands with Madonna. Vendors benefit from her comprehensive understanding end-to-end of the sales fulfillment cycles.

Caroline Zaborowski

VP Data Science

Caroline completed her Ph.D. (in Astrophysics) at Oxford University and a postdoctoral fellowship at Princeton. She has worked in technical roles in various fields such as gaming and finance. Since entering the field of data science, she had had experience in leading the development and operationalization of data science strategy within large enterprises.

Natasha Adams

VP Product Management

From concept to launch and support, Natasha Adams has 20+ years’ experience in directing product lifecycles and implementations. Her background in Electrical Engineering coupled with extensive experience with both high-growth B2B startups and large multinational enterprises allows her to apply strong problem-solving skills to translating the customer’s voice to streamlined software solutions. As a strong cross-functional leader, she has successfully launched/delivered solutions across diverse industries such as horticulture, eDiscovery, and AI.

Max Lee

VP Engineering

Max Lee has an extensive background in creating hardware and AI solutions for chatbots, signal processing, and computer vision. He epitomizes the way the whole engineering team works. He is able to solve problems by applying his multi-disciplinary knowledge that spans mathematics, science, engineering, and ethics.

Sheila Nasehi

Full-stack developer

Sheila has been working in the high-tech industry as a system designer and full-stack developer for over 12 years while she was an AI Ph.D. candidate at Claremont graduate university. She has helped start-ups to launch concepts idea into production with millions of users. She leverages her Ph.D. level academic background and industry experience to help Sonasoft’s winning team.

Owen Lewis

Director of Sales

Owen Lewis comes to Sonasoft with expertise in selling elite software products. In previous roles, Owen has procured dozens of first-class clients to both enterprise companies and venture-backed startups.

Prior to the tech world, Owen worked in federal and local politics, including a stint for a prominent congressman on Capitol Hill. He graduated with a BS in Political Science and a BA in Business Administration from the University of San Diego (USD).
